QUESTIONS for telling your life story:
The questions on the
following pages are intended as resources for telling your life story. Rather than try to tell your whole life,
focus on just one memory or experience at a time. These can be done in any order that strikes
your fancy. You don’t have to do them
all. Just pick whatever questions
interest you or those that you feel you have something to share about.
Record your stories in whatever way you are most comfortable. Some people write them out long hand. Others prefer to use a computer. Some talk into a voice recorder. There is no wrong way. The important thing is that you start. Tell as much or as little detail as fits for you.

down one story each week over a period of time works best for them. Others write more often. Pick a day or time that suits your schedule
and make a commitment to write. Your
stories matter. Even things that seem
very ordinary to you may be of great interest to your future descendants. Your unique perspective and the experiences
you have had matter. Write them down!
